We’re all experiencing a really challenging and unique period for humankind. About a month ago (literally), the whole world stopped. Some people panicked, others remained calm. But everyone knows that when this period comes to an end, nothing will be the same again. Even though this time can be hard for many, let’s all try and take something from it.
I don’t want to sound like I’ve already figured everything out. The situation with corona virus also shook the foundations of my perception about living, working, thinking … I don’t know what is going to happen next, but what I know for sure, is that I’m going to do my best to make the most out of this situation. And I suggest you do the same.
Take care of your body, mind and spirit. If you’re one of those who has more time during this period, take it as a gift. Move your body in your own way – if you are a passionate pole dancer, do some moves at home, even though you might not have your own pole. Put on your favorite pole dance outfit and dance like nobody’s watching. Do some stretching, push-ups, squats, lunges, do exercise that will help you to improve your grip strength … Work on that strength and flexibility. You can still open the windows and breathe in some fresh air.
Take some time and really think about what you want from life. What do you want your life to be like when this period of self-isolation is over? Do you have any special goals you want to achieve? Write a kind of bucket list of all the things you want to achieve or experience. And start now!
Don’t let fear paralyze you and take away your creative spirit. I know it can be hard from time to time, especially if you don’t really know what the future holds. But we have to know that a giant rock of insecurity is sitting on everyone’s shoulders. And I guess, the sanest thing to do is simply to accept it. Try to be ok with the feeling of insecurity.
I also don’t know what to expect. But I’m doing my best to seize each and every moment. I’m trying to take this time and do as many creative things as possible. I’m already creating a new collection and I promise you that you’re going to love it. ?
Till next time, stay healthy and safe. Do the things you love and that make you happy. Don’t waste your time and energy on unproductive thoughts or unimportant things. It’s time to realize that our time on planet Earth is limited. So, use it wisely.
I would be really happy to hear from you … How are you? How are you experiencing this time of isolation? How are you spending your time? Have you had any interesting ideas? Are you trying to do some pole dance as well?
